横浜オーシャントーストマスターズクラブ 例会記録・ブログ

  横浜オーシャントーストマスターズクラブ（以下， YOTMC ）もチャーターから 10 年目を迎え，例会も 300 回を超えました。本日の例会はハイブリッド。 YOTMC に再入会された S さん，ゲストの R さんも横浜技能文化会館の現地で参加され，会場は盛り上がったようです！ YOTMC ではハイブリッド例会用に機材等を揃えていて，音響や画像も整っているので，オンライン参加でも楽しく参加することができますよ。 まずは YOTMC に S さんの入会式。今回の再入会の抱負として，「上手く話すという技術的なことより，自分が心から思っていることを言語化して伝えたい」と言葉が心に残りました。 今日は入会式や会場片付け時間があり，本日の準備スピーチは英語２本のみ。　　　　　　日本語スピーチがなくて日本語セッションが寂しくなってしまうかなと少し心配だったのですが杞憂でした！日本語テーブルトピックスマスターのOさんが大喜利形式での新しいスタイルを提供して例会を盛り上げてくれます。Oさんが出す写真に対して，指名されたメンバーはおもしろおかしく話すというもの。写真はイキったガチャピンや，ゴレンジャーのポーズをとるおじいさん５人組などなど。指名されたメンバーも恥ずかしさを捨てて真剣に面白おかしく話してくれたので，みんなお腹を抱えて大笑いでした。 English session had two prepared speeches. The first speech is “Serendipity” per Level 1 Ice Breaker by TM KS, and the 2 nd one is “Duality: keeping the balance” per Level 1 Evaluation and Feedback by TM JY. Both speakers used wonderful slides so that the audience easily followed. I thought our encounter at YOTMC is a kind of Serendipity 😊 , and YOTMC is a great place to learn from each other to make the world bet

  2023年7月9日、新年度最初の第301回通常例会が開催されました。 冒頭で、新会長のW松さんによる今期のクラブのスローガン「Failure in learning. For your future. For everyone’s future.; たくさんの失敗と学びを。明日の自分に。明日のみんなに。」が発表されました。メンバーを鼓舞する素晴らしいスローガンです。 今日のゲストのS井さんとＮVさんが紹介され、教育セッションがスタートしました。 今朝のトーストマスターは、我がクラブのベテランI岡さんです。 In English session, “Art“ was introduced as “Word of the morning” by TM　P. Speech skill is one of art, so it is meant to polish the art together.  Since the first “Prepared Speech” was canceled at short notice, TMOM I-oka made an impromptu speech. Although he had just returned from an overseas business trip, he made a speech with realism about how he dealt with some troubles during his business trip. His speech was so well organized that it did not seem impromptu. The second prepared speaker was TMOM A-tsu who just joined us last month. It was her first speech and the title was “Have Confidence”. She introduced her story that she had wanted to be confident for public speech, so decided to join our club. It was very convincing speech
