第308回 インハウス新人対抗例会 / Inhouse Rookie tournament meeting No.308

 2023年10月23日、第2回Zoomオンライン例会を開催いたしました。

会員18名が参加しました。ゲストは4人（会場3人、オンライン1人）も参加してくれました！

最初のビジネスセッションでは11月の秋のトレーニングの案内と12月神奈川地区新人スピーチ対抗戦の案内がありました。秋のトレーニングでは、WorkshopのスピーカーとしてK戸さん、S木さんが登壇されます！

そして、本日の例会では対抗戦のクラブ代表を決めるクラブコンテストを開催いたしました！熱戦の模様をレポートいたします。


本日は日本語セッションからスタートしました。

コンテスト委員長&TMOMはE藤さん、審査委員長はI岡さんでした。コンテストの緊張感と穏やかさの見事なコンビネーションの雰囲気でクラブコンテストの開始が宣言されました。
1番目のコンテスタントはO田さんです。友達作りについての新しいアイデアを提供して頂きました。
2番目のコンテスタントはB場さんです。「やるか」「やらないか」の選択肢があるときどうするか、という問いかけの力強いスピーチでした。
3番目のコンテスタントはJ.H.さんです。言語を学んでいるときに中だるみしてきたら、あなたの興味と関連するものに取り組んでみて、というヒントをくれました。
コンテストの独特の高揚感、ポジティブな雰囲気っていいですね。私も頑張ろう！という刺激をいただきました。

ここで休憩を10分間取り、会場、オンラインともに団らんの時間を楽しみました。

例会後半は、英語セッションです。

Second half of the meeting was started with an interview session.
TM K organized this session. He got the stories behind the speeches of the three contestants.

Next, Table Topics session.
Today, we had a Bilingual table topics session (impromptu speech session). TM W organized this session and provided interesting question relating to the contest. テーブルトピックスセッション（即興スピーチ）はW松が司会進行をしてくれました。
本日のコンテストに関連した質問を出してくれました。

・What’s the good thing of joining the contest?　W辺さん
・How to overcome the anxiety when joining the contest. K賀さん
・あなたと全然似てないあなたの友達のことを教えて　S田さん
・How to make your life happier? Tips to live your happy life.　Lさん
・好きな歴上の人物は？　ゲスト

All of them were excellent speeches. Since the members came from different backgrounds and different ages, even short speeches like the table topics gave us a variety of learning and tips.
いずれも素晴らしいスピーチでした。バックグラウンドも年齢も違うメンバーが集まっているので、テーブルトピックスのような短いスピーチであっても様々な学びやヒントがもらえますね。

Next, Evaluation session.

1人目の論評者はS井さんです。O田さんのスピーチについて、スピーチの構成やジェスチャーの点から論評してくれました。
Second evaluator was TM S. She commented on the perspective of the use of language to TM B’s speech.
3人目の論評者はS木さんです。海外出身のJ.Hさんのスピーチについて、自然な日本語にするためにさらにできることは何か、という点から論評してくれました。

All three of the speakers gave a thoughtful evaluation that motivated the speaker to deliver their next speech. The way they spoke was polite, calm, and excellent.

Today, we passed the General evaluation session and moved to the Award session.

Today's meeting was a great meeting with lots of learning. I am very lucky to have such an inspiring time on a Sunday morning!
Since today was a hybrid meeting, members who attended at the venue enjoyed lunch together after the meeting.

第315回 通常例会 / Regular Meeting No.315

 Sunday, February 11, 2024, the first meeting of February, the online meeting was held in the morning. The meeting was held from 10:00 a.m. to noon with a total of 15 participants. And usually the meetings are separated by about one hour each for English and Japanese. Today, however, since there were one prepared speech in English and three prepared speeches in Japanese, the first half of the English session lasted about 45 minutes, while the second half of the Japanese session lasted a little over an hour. 2024年2月11日（日）、2月の1回目、今日はオンライン例会が開催されました。 1名のゲストを迎え、合計15名の参加者で、午前10時から正午までの2時間のミーティングで、通常は英語の部と日本語の部、各1時間程度ずつですが、今日は英語の準備スピーチ1名、日本語の準備スピーチが3名と言うスタイルだったことから、前半の英語の部が約45分、後半の日本語の部が約1時間強と言うスケジュールとなりました。 Today's facilitator, Toastmaster of the Morning (TMOM), was TM TS, a first-time TMOM.
